La Mirada Armada

Armada Artistic Swim Club is the newest addition to the La Mirada Armada swim team. We are members of the USA Artistic. We are competing on the local, regional, zone, and national levels.

The focus for each individual is to reach their best potential while having fun. Our goal is to build great athletes and in doing so we develop great people. The coaches and staff create a fun and educational environment to help young boys and girls learn the skills to become successful now and later in life. Our athletes gain confidence, discipline, and social skills, characteristics that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Our Programs

Novices/Intermediate: The Novice/Intermediate team is the perfect introduction to competitive artistic swimming. Swimmers spend the fall learning basic skills and the winter combining those skills into figures and routines. They will be competing at local Saturday competitions, increasing confidence and teamwork, while having fun.

The Schedule for our Novices is 2 -3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: (5:00 pm- 7:00 pm) and Saturday (9:00 am - 11:30 am). Schedule for Intermediates is 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (5:00 pm - 7:30 pm), and Saturday (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)

Age Group Team: 12 & Under and Youth: Age Group teams compete at the local, regional levels, and National level competitions. Goal setting is introduced so that the athletes train hard to achieve their individual goals and the team's goal of competing at a national meet. Strong emphasis is placed on developing both the synchro skills and the confidence needed to compete nationally.

The Schedule for our 12 & Under is 4 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (5:00 pm - 8:00 pm) Tuesday (5:00 - 6:30 pm), and Saturday (9:00 am - 1:00 pm). The schedule for our Youth is 4 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (5:00 pm - 8:30 pm) Tuesday (5:00 - 6:30 pm), and Saturday (9:00 am - 2:00 pm)

Starting with our 12 & Under Age group

12 & Under Achievements

We are excited to showcase the outstanding accomplishments of our 12 & Under athletes, particularly during the Junior Olympics held in Gresham, Oregon. Our mixed duet teams performed exceptionally well:

- 2nd Place

- 3rd Place:
Camero Stella / Park Hechan

In addition, our 12 & Under duet also made a strong showing, earning 7th Place with their impressive performance:

- BINONDO Allyson / YU Kate

We are especially proud to announce that this was the first year Armada had a 12 & Under team, and they made a remarkable debut by placing 6th out of 31 teams! This accomplishment speaks volumes about theirs as well as the coach's hard work, determination, and teamwork.

We look forward to building on this success in the coming seasons!
