Spring Water Polo for Boys and Girls

The La Mirada Armada will begin its boys and girls Spring Session USA Water Polo program on Monday March 2, 2009.

The Spring session will run from March 2,through May 15th. We will be practicing 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:10 to 9:30pm at the Splash Facility in La Mirada. We will be fielding the following teams this session: Boys 18 and Under; Girls 18 and Under; Boys 16 and Under; Girls 16 and Under; Boys 14 and Under: and Girls 14 and Under. The Boys and Girls Teams will have separate coaching staffs but will practice at the same time, in different areas of the pool.

This Spring Session will include many opportunities for games culminating with the Mikasa Cup Tournament in May.

The cost of this session will be $350 which includes $275 in team fees and registration (which goes to pay for pool rental fees, coaches salaries, administration costs, etc), $25 equipment fee, and $50 tournament fee. All athletes must be members of USA Water Polo.

Reminders: This years Junior Olympic Tournament will be at Stanford in August and we would like to continue the momentum we had in the Winter Session to qualify for that tournament. Also, keep your grades up as we had 6 Academic All Americans last year and we would like to double that number this year.
